Laura Kibler
Laura Kibler

She was devoted to her student athletes and the last position she held was Athletic Trainer at Nashville Community High School, Nashville Illinois. She was married to David (Ralph) Rennegarbe and her family was her world. She would be so proud of the incredible young adults they have become. Logan, 21, is scheduled to graduate from SIU-Edwardsville in May 2014 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Billy Jones (William Allen)
Billy Jones (William Allen)
10/23/1965 - 3/28/2004 Before Billy’s passing, he worked his way up in the Wireless Networking industry and was ultimately awarded the prestigious “Circle of Excellence” award at AT&T Wireless. This honor presented him and Veronica with an all expense paid trip to the U.S. Virgin Islands. Proud doesn’t even begin to describe the feelings. While Billy had a successful career and was very happy doing so, his legacy to this earth was his love for his family, in particularly his kids. He was the best Dad, brother, friend, uncle, son and husband anyone could have asked for. We all miss him dearly but have peace in our hearts knowing he reached more goals in his short 38 years than he had ever set out do. Billy’s widow, Veronica Lynn (Buckshot) Jones and children remain in the Dallas, TX area but continue to call MVN “home” and return for family and friend visits as much as possible.
Pat Wright
February 7, 1965- April 4, 1993. His parents are Bill and Barbara Wright. Pat lived in Mt. Vernon. He was 28 when he left us. Pat died in a car accident with a very close friend, Scott Wallace. It was six days before he would share wedding vows with Monica Huntman. They had been together for six and a half years and had a son, Damon Patrick Wright. Pat worked at Mt. Vernon Neon Sign Company (Everbrite). He enjoyed hanging out with his “little man” Damon, playing golf, fishing, and watching the Blues, Cardinals, and Da Bears! He was an intricate part of his family and enjoyed spending every opportunity he had with them. He was laid to rest at Wolf Prairie Cemetery. His family cherished every minute they had with him during his life. Pat always had a positive attitude, happy heart, and a bright smile. Since his passing, his family, Monica, and Damon have continued to stay very close. Pat’s father recently passed away. His mother continues to live in their family home. His siblings also live in Mt. Vernon. Damon graduated Mt. Vernon High School in 2011. During his high school years, Damon played football, wrestling, baseball, and participated in Youth and Government. He currently is completing his Bachelor’s degree in business administration at McKendree University with plans to attend law school in 2014. Monica married Scott Maxey in 1999 and raised Damon and a daughter, Emma Maxey. Pat’s family has embraced Damon, Monica, and her family. They have kept Pat’s memory present in their lives by continuing to embrace the love he had for his family, sports, and sharing memories of good times and special moments from the past.
